A2 is a modern business management system specializing in the administration of selling and logistic processes. Moreover, A2 is also an extensible platform with the power to meet highly specialized needs. A2 can be customized with each and every customer and still benefit from the common source code base developed for business-related manipulation within the database. Using A2 as a toolbox, we will build your business application with standardized components making the product robust, predictive and scalable.
Developed in Java, A2 can be hosted on all Java-capable operating environments. Today, support is there for most SQL database engines on the market. By default we use PostgreSQL but there will be no problem e.g. choosing Informix, MS SQL-server or MySQL.
Customization
A2, our toolbox for customization. Being self-developed and owned solely of us we can customize A2 to satisfy your needs. It will run in every Java SE compatible environment like UNIX, Windows and MacOS. You can mix client OS environment as you please.
Integrity
With A2 you can limit GUI and information accessible individually for each user or location. Permission is easily maintained by the role-owner. All transactions will be logged and can be verified easily.
Usability
A2 is easy to work with. You have a lot of information to back up your focused process routine. With every major process, you could use self-organized attributes which will give you a controlled feeling of freedom with the system. Being friendly when registering data A2 also give you the possibility to explore your data in a very free way. You have QBE - Query By Example, letting you search in every field in any combination within a form. For specialized systemwide field combination searches, there is a special routine to use.
The user can compose the GUI for suiting every working situation and save it for later use or as a standard. Being treated as objects you could "surf" thru related data as in the Order-Customer-Invoices-Items chain and so on.
Commonly used routines could be automated to give a more up to date system overall.
In A2 you will have an interactively active GUI to explore your data. All statistics are "online" prepared for you in real time. Old rarely used data could be compacted still being included in statistics.
Secure operation
Being developed to process large data in a 24/7 operating system smart fault exception management have been used thru out A2. In case of corrupt data occurs it will be placed to be checked by special routines. This will be maintained also under heavy load or unstable connections like in mobile use.
Using A2 outside your domain will be secured by automatic ssh-tunnel setup.
Integration
A2 will communicate with every other system, either by direct connection or more loosely by import/export files. We will be happy to help you integrate with your present systems. A2 could use internal, LDAP or other catalogue services for authentication so you don't have to maintain multiple catalogues.
Mobile
A2-shop-in-shop in an example of a mobile application which will connect to A2 enabling users to take orders and deliver goods in the field. The application can handle the process offline. Synchronization will occur when there is an internet connection to A2-mobile, the mobile data switch of A2.
